Éire Óg Sevilla (Los verdirojos) is a GAA club based in Cartuja near the Olympic Stadium. Established in 2009, they play in green and red jerseys, black shorts and black socks. Founder and club secretary Kevin Lenane comes from Ardmore, County Waterford.[2]

In February 2010, the club played its first friendly match, an away game against Marbella Costa Gaels. At the 2010 Iberian Championships, it lost to St Vincent Valencia at the semi-final stage. At the 2011 Iberian Championships, it lost to Barcelona Gaels at the semi-final stage.[1]

In January 2013, the club received international attention after exhibiting Gaelic football to a crowd watching a La Liga soccer match between Sevilla and Granada.[3][4]
