ObliqSound is an independent record label based in New York City, Paris and Hamburg.[1] It provides a home for artists around the globe interested in creating music that crosses the boundaries of traditional music labeling. Dedicated to both an instrumental and vocal series, ObliqSound endeavors to create a body of timeless, genre-defying music. In 2008 it signed vocalist Gretchen Parlato,[2] whose label debut "In A Dream" hit #48 on the Billboard Jazz Charts on its first week on charts.[3]
