Alternative Metal?!

I see there are two references that state Echobrain was an alternative metal band, which is... very strange. As someone who is actually familiar with Echobrain's music, I can safely say that there's little "metal" in their music. Alternative rock would be a much better description for Echobrain, or perhaps simply "rock" considering their music has many influences, including grunge, progressive rock and hard rock. Seriously, some of their songs wouldn't sound out of place on an early 90s grunge album, while others could comfortably fit on a 70s progressive rock album... but what do I know?
