Knights of Malta is generally synonymous with the medieval Order of Knights of Malta also known as Knights Hospitaller or, among other names, Order of St. John.
It may also refer to:
- Sovereign Military Order of Malta, the Rome-based successor of the Knights Hospitaller, widely considered a sovereign subject;
- Order of Saint John (Bailiwick of Brandenburg), the Berlin-based Protestant branch of the Order, from which it separated during the Reformation;
- Venerable Order of Saint John, an English order of chivalry, parent body of St John Ambulance, at some time considered to be a langue of the Knights Hospitaller; or
- Order of Malta (Freemasonry), a Masonic order closely associated with the Masonic Knights Templar.
- The Knights of Malta ofSt Elmos Society, A secret Society at Yale University
