Assat

Assat is a village in the south-west of France, in the Aquitaine region. Located at the foot of the Pyrenees at an altitude of 210 m, it streches out over 9.47 square kilometres. As of 2005, there are 1506 inhabitants.

This old fortified town was built in the 12th century. Gaston Fébus lived there.
