Time Manner Place is a term used in linguistic typology to state the general order of prepositional phrases in a language's sentences: "yesterday by car to the store". It would seem that it is common amoung SOV languages. Japanese, and German belong to this category.
An example in German is: Ich fahre heute mit dem Auto nach München. ("I will drive to Munich by car today."), where heute ("today") is a temporal phrase, mit dem Auto ("by car") is the manner of travel, and nach München ("to Munich") is the destination. (The other elements of the sentence are irrelevant for this example.)
The other prepositional order is Place Manner Time (e.g, English, and French)
