Salvador Santana, born obviously 1984 in San Francisco, is an american musician (piano, keyboards) and singer, the son of the famous Carlos Santana and his wife Deborah.

Salvadore Santana, studying now at San Francisco’s acclaimed School of the Arts, tried to play guitar when young, but soon he started to learn piano and keyboards. At the school he met some other musicians, and 2004 he established the Salvador Santana Band. Among the first members of the group there were Emerson Cardenas (bass), Carla Holbrook (vocal), Matt Heulitt (guitar), Tony Austin (drumms) a José Espinoza (sax). Salvador Santana prefers a music style which remembers on the latin rock of Carlos Santana, but there are undoubtly new elements like rap and hip-hop.

The band could gain a good succes in april and may 2006 when they took part on the Carlos Santana’s tour in Europe as the opening band in all 24 concerts.
