Jürgen Cain Külbel is a German former criminal investigator of the GDR, who became a journalist after the reunification of Germany.

Jürgen Cain Külbel came to international light after publishing a counter-investigation on the assassination of former Lebanese prime minister Rafik Hariri, accusing Israel and the Mossad of orchestrating Hariri's murder. He presented his analysis at a conference in Damascus, Syria, on 7 May 2006.[1] He wrote a book, Mordakte Hariri, about the case.[2][3]
