P. V. K. N. Government College (papudesi venkata krishnama Naidu), Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh was established in 1961 and has grown by considerably since then. It is the Lead-College in the district. The campus spreads over an area of 54.8 acres (22.2 ha) with a student population of 3655, of which 928 are women and 67 are PG students. The college has 62 highly motivated and committed teachers on the faculty. It has an excellent record in academic and extra-curricular activities.
