The Amnesty International UK Media Awards 1995 were made in 5 categories; National Print, Periodicals, Radio, Television Documentary and Television News with two awards made in the Television Documentary category.

Overall winner was in the Television News category for the reporting on China’s ‘laogai’ (labour camps) by Sue Lloyd-Roberts BBC Breakfast News.[1] The award was presented by Pierre Sané.[2]
