K480b (talk) 22:53, 6 March 2013 (UTC)Questioning why "Religious monism" is included, much less dominant. Indeed, given a scientific consensus on universal laws of nature (gravity, genetics, etc.), religious belief seems to require some sort of dualism, and "Religious monism" to be an oxymoron. Even if religion (or spirituality) and natural laws are not necessarily incompatible, most religions (especially the dominant Abrahamic ones) regard such dichotomies as good-evil, heaven-earth, body-mind, creator-creation as real. Such dichotomies are incompatible with monism, as described elsewhere in the article. Since I am only a newly "minted" editor, I am reluctant to remove this section (and its references) on my own. Yet "Religious monism" appears completely out of place.
