25538 Markcarlson (provisional designation: 1999 XN158) is a main-belt minor planet. It was discovered by the Lincoln Near-Earth Asteroid Research project in Socorro, New Mexico, on December 8, 1999. It is named after Mark Carlson, an American educator in Aurora, Illinois.
