Angela Giron is a Democratic member of the Colorado Senate, representing District 3 since 2011.

Prior to her Senate career, Giron worked for the Boys & Girls Club of Pueblo, helping greatly expand and develop the organization.[1] She also served as a congressional aide to U.S. Senators Ken Salazar and Michael Bennet.[2]

Giron has a daughter, Melanie, and a son-in-law, Adam; she is married to Steve Nawrocki, a Pueblo City Councilman.[3]

Gun Debate Giron is an anti-Gun, second ammendment crushing Liberal. On March 11, 2013, she voted according to party lines in favor of 5 bills that would limit the rights of law abiding gun owners in Colorado. Giron is so committed to the Obama/Biden aniti-gun agenda that she passed the 5 bills despite overwhelming disapproval from her constiguents, and a call to back a democratic rival if she voted to pass the bills.
