Erica Andrews ( ? - March 11, 2013) originally Erica Hutton,[1] was a transsexual drag performer and longtime resident of Texas born in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico[2] known for her sophisticated and nuanced imitations of Hollywood greats such as Joan Crawford.[3] Called "the most beautiful drag queen in captivity",[4] she was named Miss Continental in 2004. Andrews appeared several times on Maury and The Tyra Banks Show. Her screen roles included the documentary Trantasia (2008) and a starring turn in the film Ticked-Off Trannies with Knives[5] (2010).[6] Erica was the drag daughter of Tandi Andrews and at the time of her death was the head of the House of Andrews, which includes Rupaul's Drag Race Season 5 contestant Roxxxy Andrews.
