Jingxi Nanfang Hospital Station (Chinese: 京溪南方医院站) is a metro station of Line 3 on the Guangzhou Metro. The underground station is located at Guangzhou Avenue (Chinese: 广州大道; pinyin: Guangzhou Dadao) near Nanfang Hospital (Chinese: 南方医院) in Baiyun District. It started operation on 30 October 2010.[1]
Its name is a combination of nearby Jingxi Village (Chinese: 京溪村) and Nanfang Hospital, in order to favour the benefits of both sides. Its Chinese name is currently the longest in the Guangzhou Metro system, with seven Chinese words in total.[2]
