FWF

I dont have his autobiography, but I think it has more to say about the FWF affair than what Crozier told in 1975. Intangible2.0 16:40, 1 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have read it, and it is an eye opener. Most memoirs leave out some activities and you need to read between the lines. When I was a journalist, I learned to read in stereo as it were. What does the writer say? And what does he NOT say? The latter is often just as telling. It is clear from Crozier’s book that the FWF was a propaganda tool to counteract subversion from the Kremlin. But Crozier’s descriptions leave no doubt it was as much a front for ‘operations’, but of course he details only those which have already become public knowledge. (The censors who sanitized the manuscript before publication also had a hand in not revealing the full historic record.) Read the book between the lines and be shocked to the core how these self-appointed, self-righteous, ultra-right fanatics worked against democratically elected representatives, paid for by big money. This writer certainly fell for their propaganda, but I have a valid excuse. I grew up in West Berlin, the US were our protectors. Whenever I heard (decades ago back in Germany) about the evil deeds of the CIA network, I dismissed that as propaganda and thoroughly believed the spin which I now know came from Crozier’s mob. I am ashamed to admit that I was so naive to believe the West stood for justice, honesty etc. etc. and that the communists in East Germany who had usurped our land were devils. Come reunification, the then All-German government, ruled from Bonn by Helmut Kohl, did exactly the same thing. The corrupt mentality, which the Crozier network, The Pinay Cercle, the 61, the FWF, and his other mercenaries, sponsored all over Western Europe is Crozier’s legacy and he should hang his head in shame. Being at the receiving end of that corrupt mentality, where big corporations can buy anything, including laws justifying theft, turned my weltanschauung on its head. My loss changed me because the puppetmasters who ruled Germany from afar, did not rein in the Kohl mob on this occasion, while on plenty of other occasions, the US organisations, secret or not so secret, had no trouble interfering. For Crozier, democracy is the carrot they dangle in front of people, but when you bite into that carrot, it is wrotten to the core. What’s the point of democracy if it washes up people like Helmut Kohl and his mate the turncoat Mitterrand? Freedom, which Crozier is so fond of, is a meaningless word when when justice remains elusive. It even feels like a propaganda term when the experience of German democracy descends on you. The Crozier group cutivated that mentality where meddling and fiddling by those with deep pockets was fine, as long as the big companies profited to the point of profiteering. If a bill could be presented for the damage that the Crozier mercenaries caused it would be gigantic. Mine alone has seven figures. 121.209.49.50 (talk) 01:55, 8 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
