The Wenatchee Valley Venom were a professional indoor football team of the Indoor Football League who are only played two seasons before folding. The Venom were based in Wenatchee, Washington, with home games played at the Town Toyota Center.
In its inaugural season, the Venom was a member of the American Indoor Football Association.
On June 21, 2011 The Venom announced that they would be ceasing operations.. The Venom have suffered from low ticket sales since their debut season in 2010, when they finished 8-6 in the American Indoor Football Association. Though they moved to the more financially stable IFL for the 2011 season, the team posted a 3-11 record and continued to have issues drawing fans.[1]
