Sarge is the codename for the Debian GNU/Linux 3.1 distribution which went from testing to stable on June 6th 2005. The previous stable release was Woody.

It is named after the Sarge character from the animated film Toy Story.

On June 9th 2005, three days after Sarge's release, the port of Sarge to AMD64 architecture was also declared stable. This was the first release of Debian on AMD64, although it is an unofficial one.
