The Roman Catholic Diocese of Minas is a diocese of the Latin Rite of the Roman Catholic church in Uruguay.

History

The diocese was erected in 1960, and is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Montevideo. This diocese covers the Department of Lavalleja and northern portions of the Departments of Rocha and Maldonado. Its see is at the Cathedral of Minas.

The current bishop is Jaime Rafael Fuentes, who was appointed in 2010.
