David Geaney is a former Irish Gaelic football player for Kerry and An Daingean and current player with St Peters Dunboyne.

Playing career

Geaney first came at attation wile playing with Dingle CBS. In 2003 he was part of the Kerry minor team that won the Munater Championship and later lost out to Laois in the All Ireland semi final.

He later moved on to the Under 21 team but was only a panel member and had little success. He was also part of the kerry junior side bit again had little success.

After a number of years away from intercounty football he was part of the Kerry panel in 2011 making his first league appearance and went on to play 4 more games. He later played his first championship game. He was dropped from the panel at the start o the 2012 season.

At club level he helped Dingle win the Intermediate county title with a win over West Kerry rivals Annascaul. He played in the 2012 Count Senior Championship final where Dingle lost out to Dr. Croke, they later lost out again to Crokes in the Div 1 county league final, he alos played in the losing final in 2011. He later joined Meath side St. Peter's, Dunboyne
