Auburn railway station, Sydney

Template:Infobox CityRail station Auburn is a railway station on the Western and South lines of the CityRail network. It is located in the Sydney suburb of Auburn, which is a well established residential and commercial area. It has four running tracks and two island platforms. At the western end of the station are goods marshalling yards and access to stabling and maintenance facilities.

Platforms and services

The station is served by four to six trains per hour each way, with additional trains during weekday peak hours.

Sydney Buses runs two routes to and from Auburn railway station:

• Route 540 - weekdays (Monday to Friday) peak hour services - Ermington
• Route 544 - weekdays (Monday to Friday) and Saturday services - Macquarie Centre

Veolia Transport runs four routes via Auburn railway station:

• Route 908 - between Merrylands and Bankstown
• Route 909 - between Parramatta and Bankstown
• Route 911 - to Bankstown
• Route S3 - to Auburn West Public School and the Auburn Botanical Gardens

NightRide runs the following routes via Auburn railway station:

• Route N60 - between Fairfield Station and City (Town Hall)
• Route N61 - between Carlingford Station and City (Town Hall)
