The R720 is a Regional Route in South Africa. Its northern terminus is the R721 south of Vredefort. From there, it heads south-east, crossing the N1. On the other side, it reaches Koppies, where it meets the R82 at a staggered junction. From there it heads south meeting the R34. It is co-signed with this route for a few kilometres, reaching Edenville. From Edenville, it heads south to Steynsrus. At the town, it crosses the R76. The route continues south to end at the R30 near Senekal.
