La pioggia

The article seems to say that France Gall performed La pioggia in French under the title L'orage at Sanremo 1969. I believe that she sang La pioggia, in Italian, at Sanremo and L'orage elsewhere.

Note that http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Festival_di_Sanremo_1969 makes no mention of L'orage. Also, in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X8Kd5fi2uPs she is clearly on the Sanremo stage and singing in Italian.

She did record L'orage, and sing it on TV, in 1969, but unless someone has evidence that she sang it at Sanremo, the article should be changed to say that she sang the Italian song. Wcomm (talk) 04:05, 23 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Also notice that the third reference at the bottom of the article ^ "History of The Love Moth". Poparchives.com.au. Retrieved 2012-10-10. includes the following, clearly stating that France Gall, at Sanremo, sang the song in Italian: French-language version ("The Storm"), a single by French ye-ye star France Gall of a 1969 San Remo Music Festival entrant. Following San Remo practice, this would have been released on the same day as Gigliola Cinquetti's Italian single (see below).

The two singers had each sung La Pioggia in Italian at the San Remo Music Festival, 30 January-1 February 1969. France Gall's single also charted in Europe. Wcomm (talk) 00:22, 28 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
