Tin Cup is a 1996 romantic comedy starring Kevin Costner and Rene Russo, with major supporting roles by Cheech Marin and Don Johnson.

The storyline focuses on the relationship that develops between two entirely different people. Costner plays a golf instructor with no future and Russo portrays a fancy psychiatrist. He is attracted to her, but she feels she's too good for him. However, in time, she falls for his uncomplicated and true heart.

Much of the film takes place at the U.S. Open PGA golf tournament, and several pro golfers make cameo appearances.
