The 2013–14 season will be Liverpool Football Club's 122nd season in existence, and their 51st in the top flight of English football. It is also the club's 22nd consecutive season in the Premier League. As well as the Premier League, the club will participate in the League Cup and the FA Cup.

Kit

As for the previous three years, Liverpool's shirt will be sponsored by Standard Chartered and the kit will be manufcatured by Warrior.

Pre-season and friendlies

Liverpool will precede their season with a global tour, which will include the club's first ever games in Indonesia[1] and Australia[2]. The club will also play in Thailand for the fourth time since 2001[3]. After the tour, Steven Gerrard's testimonial will take place again Olympiacos at Anfield[4].

Livverpool will enter the FA Cup at the Third Round stage as well as the other Premier League clubs and all the Championship clubs. The draw for the third round will take place in December 2013 with the ties to be played in January 2014.
