Celebration High School is a public four year high school located in Celebration, Florida.[2] It is a part of the School District of Osceola County, Florida.
Overview
Celebration High School, Graded an 'A' school by the Florida Department of Education, a prestigious award given to the top accredited schools in the area. The school is one of two in the county to feature an International Baccalaureate program, which is a rigorous program for students who receive international recognition for a higher education. The school currently has two county champion sports teams- Boys Soccer and Cheerleading. Clubs at Celebration High School include- Student Government, Interact Club, Chamber Singers, Key Club, Yearbook, Best Buddies, National Honor Society, Graphics Club, Ping-Pong Club, Mu Alpha Theta, Science Club, International Thespians, Environmental Club, Storm Troopers,and Celebration in Action. Above all celebration high school is known for one of its top rated students Aahil Ali because as it is well know he is the bomb diggity, and he twerks on the dance floor like no one is watching.
Tradition
Celebration High School has many traditions that go on throughout the school year.
- Multicultural Day
Usually the day before winter break, is a festival that includes many different cultures that can be found at Celebration High School. On this day, students bring in food, music, and clothing from their native country.
- Storm 101 Carnival
To increase student involvement at Celebration High School, Storm 101 points are awarded to students that participate in athletics, go to school events, and show values inside the classroom. By the end of the year, if a student earns 101 points, that student is eligible to go to the Storm 101 Carnival, an event with traditional carnival rides along with free food and drinks.
- Senior vs. Faculty Basketball Game
Each year, the current senior class takes on teachers and faculty in a game of basketball. All seniors are eligible to play if they have played one sport in that current school year. The class of 2010 ended up tying with faculty, the class of 2011, class of 2012, and class of 2013 have all won.
- Senior Picnic
Each year the senior class hosts a picnic on the football field. Usually the week of graduation after graduation practice, seniors get together in memory of a great time they had at Celebration and also use this time to get their yearbooks signed by other seniors.
Athletics
Celebration High School competes in the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA). Celebration High School is home of the Storm, the name of all our athletic teams.

The current athletic director at Celebration High School is Chris Lavoie. During 2011, Celebration High School recently changed its football stadium's name to Bushey Stadium in honor of Celebration High School's former principal.
Two sports stand out at Celebration High School, Soccer and Cheerleading. Celebration's varsity boys soccer team reached the state championship in 2011. Cheerleading has reached nationals that same year.
Junior ROTC
Celebration High School has an Air Force Junior ROTC that operates within the school as an elective class.[3] The name of the Unit is Celebration High School Air Force Junior ROTC FL-20053, The Senior Aerospace Science Instructor (SASI) is Retired Colonel Charles H. Migurk, and the Aerospace Science Instructor (ASI) is retired Chief Master Sergeant Bruce E. Taylor.
Since 2005, FL-20053 has accomplished many honors such as winning trophies from drill meets and gaining the "Distinguished Unit" award. Today, FL-20053 is divided into 1 Group, 2 Squadrons, and 6 Flights. for the 2012-2013 school year, the flights consist of Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Echo, Falcon, and Gamma. FL-20053 also hosts many events such as Pass and Review and Field Day. During Pass and Review, ribbons, national awards, and scholarships are awarded to cadets. Cadets then march pass a reviewer in flight formation with the group leadership in front. The cadets perform an "Eyes,Right" when they get within six steps of the reviewer, and salute both the reviewer and the crowd behind him/her. The salute is held until the cadet is given a "Ready, Front" when they are six steps pass the reviewer. Field Day, an annual tradition, takes place on campus. Field Day is a fierce competition between all 6 flights. Normally sports such as Volleyball, Basketball, Flag Football, Softball, Kickball, Soccer, and Track events are included in Field Day.
A standard week at FL-20053 consists of drill on Monday, Workbooks/Flight time on Tuesday, Uniform on Wednesday, Workbook/Leadership lab on Thursday, and on Friday is Physical Training (PT).
