Marigot Bay
Marigot Bay, often called the most beautiful bay in the Caribbean, is located on the western coast of Saint Lucia, situated a few miles from Castries.
Marigot Bay is home to several hotels: Marigot Bay Beach Club, JJ's Paradise, Oasis, The Inn on the Bay, and the newly-expected Hotel Discovery. It also houses several restaurants: the Rainforest Hideaway, Doolittle's (the site where they filmed the original Rex Harrison version of Dr. Doolittle), The Shack and JJ's Paradise Restaurant and Bar. Many new restaurants and bars are expected with the completion of Hotel Discovery and the marina village.
There is easy access to locations such as Castries (the capital city), Roseau (Saint Lucia) (home of St Lucia distillers), Anse la Raye, and Anse Cochon. It is not advisable to snorkel in Marigot Bay because of unreliability and lack of fish in the water.
