"YooHoo" is a single by South Korean girl group Secret. It is released as a digital single on April 30, 2013 through TS Entertainment. The song was written and produced by Kang Jiwon and Kim Kibum. The song marked their return from their aegyo inspired songs such as "Shy Boy" and "Starlight Moonlight".
Release
Secret released the teaser for their single "YooHoo" on April 25, 2013. The single and the album was released on digital music sites simultaneously on April 30, 2013. The official music video was unveiled on the same day.
Promotions
Secret had their comeback stage on M! Countdown on May 4, 2013. The group also performed "YooHoo" on various music shows such as Music Bank, Music Core and Inkigayo in May and June 2013.
Chart performance
Upon the release of "YooHoo", the song went up to the number 1 spot on various real-time charts such as Mnet, Bugs, Olleh, Naver, Daum, Soribada and others. Secret and their title track were also one of the most searched for terms, coming in at number 1 on various portal sites as well, signifying the interest in this group’s return with their cute and sweet concept.
Music video
The teaser for the music video was revealed on April 25, 2013. The music video was officially released on April 30, 2013. The music video was filmed on Saipan.
