C.A. Duval was the second head college football coach for the University of Texas at Arlington Mavericks located in Arlington, Texas and he held that position for two seasons, from 1921 until 1922. His career coaching record at UT Arlington was 7 wins, 7 losses, and 2 ties. This ranks him 11th at UT Arlington in total wins and eighth at UT Arlington in winning percentage.[1]

The school discontinued its football team after completion of the 1985 season.[2]
