Yevadu is an upcoming Telugu film written and directed by Vamsi Paidipally.[2] The film stars Ram Charan Teja, Shruti Haasan and Amy Jackson in lead roles.[3] Allu Arjun and Kajal Aggarwal will be seen in a 15 min in the film, which the director claims is a key portion in the script.[4] Music has been composed by Devi Sri Prasad. Amy Jackson is also confirmed to appear in the film.[5] The film was launched on December 9, 2011.[6] Kajal Aggarwal is playing a cameo in the movie and will be paired opposite Allu Arjun.[7] The shooting of the film was started on April 27, 2012 and it will be dubbed into Tamil as Yaar Ivan.[8] The film is postponed and will release on July 12, 2013.[1]

Development

The film is being produced by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. Contrary to rumours, Allu Arjun's role is not a cameo in this film, his role is as important as that of Ram Charan Teja's.[9]

Casting

Initially it was announced that Samantha was cast as the female lead in the film, but she later opted out of the project.[10] Later, Shruti Haasan was cast to replace Samantha as the female lead in this film.[11]

Filming

The shooting of the film was started on April 27, 2012 and it will be dubbed into Tamil as Yaar Ivan.[8] The shooting of the film is nearing completion and will finish around June 20, 2013.[12]

Distribution

The film distribution rights of Nizam, East Godavari and West Godavari were bagged by Geetha Arts.[13]

Marketing

The first look teaser of the film was released on March 27, 2013 on the occasion of Ram charan's birthday.[14]

Release

Initially, the film was planned to be released on June 14, 2013.[15] The film is postponed to July 12, 2013.[1]. Mega Power Star Ram Charan Teja’s action thriller film 'Yevadu' has finished 90 percent of its shooting.[16]

Soundtrack

The soundtrack of the film was composed by Devi Sri Prasad. Initially, the audio launch of the film was planned to be held on May 9, 2013.[17] The audio launch of the film is postponed to June 20, 2013.[18]
