Milana Vlaović
Milana Vlaović (née Bebić; born 1971 in Metković) is a Croatian songwriter.
When she was 18, she left Metković and went to Zagreb to study at the University of Zagreb Faculty of Law.[1] In 1993 she married Croatian footballer Goran Vlaović. Milana's sister is 1994 Miss Croatia beauty pageant winner and model Branka Bebić.
Her father, Branko Bebić, was a musician and was a member of several bands. She first began songwriting when she was 25, and her most notable collaborations included writing songs for Vesna Pisarović. In 2002 Pisarović won the annual Dora festival, the event that determines Croatia's entry for the Eurovision Song Contest. Her song written by Milana Vlaović, "Everything I Want", eventually placed 11th in the Eurovision Song Contest 2002.[2]
She also wrote the theme song for the Croatian talent show Showtime. The song titled "Duša blizanka" was performed by Miro Tomić and Anita Španec.[3]
Milana Vlaović was also elected to the Zagreb City Council in the 2009 local elections on the Croatian Democratic Union ticket.
