David M. Krieg (Dave "Blitz" Krieg, born October 20, 1958 in Iola, Wisconsin) is a former American football quarterback in the NFL. He attended the now-defunct Milton College. In his 19 year NFL career, Krieg played for the Seattle Seahawks, Kansas City Chiefs, Detroit Lions, Arizona Cardinals, Chicago Bears, and Tennessee Oilers. Dave Krieg is ranked 8th in alltime completions in the NFL. He played in three NFL Pro-Bowl games while with the Seahawks. Krieg's Seahawk teammates referred to him as 'Mudbone'. Dave Krieg is a member if the Seahawks Ring of Honor, and also holds the NFL record for being sacked more than any other quaterback in history.
