Deletion discussion about Rise of the Zombies
Hello, Corn cheese,
I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Rise of the Zombies should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rise of the Zombies .
If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
Thanks, Wikishagnik (talk) 06:26, 7 October 2012 (UTC)

Userfied
Hi there, As per the discussions at this AFD, I've userfied the contents of the article to User talk:Corn cheese/Rise of the Zombies. Please feel free to write to me for any assistance. Wifione Message 14:15, 26 October 2012 (UTC)
As Rise of the Zombies has aired and is the recipient of commentary and analysis in reliable sources,[1][2] I have expanded it and returned the article to mainspace. More work can be done certainly, but WP:NF is met. Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 22:13, 28 October 2012 (UTC)
Please stop removing exchange links, for now
Hey CC: there is an active discussion at Wikipedia:VPP#Ticker_symbols_in_navboxes on whether we should change longstanding WP practice and remove exchange links from the article leads. Please join that conversation, but until it concludes, please do not revert any edits that add the exchange link to the lead sentence. Thanks! UnitedStatesian (talk) 23:37, 30 October 2012 (UTC)
- That's the first time I've reverted such an edit. It's not like I removed exchanged more than once. Corn cheese (talk) 02:15, 7 November 2012 (UTC)

Don't add the "obstruction of justice" material to the Lindsay Lohan article again. It's a WP:BLP violation because it's unreliably sourced, WP:UNDUE, and at too early a stage to be noteworthy.--Bbb23 (talk) 01:14, 7 November 2012 (UTC)
- How is it too early? Corn cheese (talk) 01:32, 7 November 2012 (UTC)
- Generally speaking, we don't add information about criminal activity to a living person's article until they've actually been convicted of a crime. In some instances, when an individual is WP:WELLKNOWN, as Lohan is, we will add the material even before the conviction (see WP:BLPCRIME). Here, Lohan hasn't even been charged. The source, such as it is (basically a tabloid), is reporting that she is about to be charged. In addition, even in those instances where we add the material before a conviction, there has to be some connection between the criminal activity and the person's notability. Thus, for example, a lot of Lohan's legal troubles clearly interfered with her career. That made it relevant and noteworthy for the Wikipedia article. At this point, the material you want to add has no relevance to anything, in addition to all the other problems I've noted.--Bbb23 (talk) 01:43, 7 November 2012 (UTC)
- Are you sure you gave me a warning? I don't see it. Corn cheese (talk) 01:54, 7 November 2012 (UTC)
- My first sentence in this section was a personalized warning. I thought it would be more useful to you than a template warning.--Bbb23 (talk) 01:58, 7 November 2012 (UTC)
- Really? That went over my head and up into space. Corn cheese (talk) 02:00, 7 November 2012 (UTC)
- Heh, well now you know, you can bring it down to earth. :-) --Bbb23 (talk) 02:06, 7 November 2012 (UTC)
- It's too late. It landed in another galaxy. Corn cheese (talk) 02:08, 7 November 2012 (UTC)

Ticker symbols in article leads and next steps
Hi. I'm contacting you as you participated in the policy village pump discussion regarding ticker symbols in article leads.
I've posted a section here about next steps to take, specifically examining whether an RFC is needed to reach a clear consensus on this issue. If you have the time and/or inclination to weigh in, please do! --MZMcBride (talk) 18:42, 7 November 2012 (UTC)

You do know that the Carlina White article already has a section about the movie, right? The movie article just duplicates what already exists there.
