Leon Harris is a former anchor for CNN. He now works for ABC-7/WJLA-TV in Washington, DC, USA.

Harris graduated cum laude from Ohio University, majoring in communications. He has received numerous awards, including several Emmy Awards for his coverage of the 2000 presidential election, the Oklahoma City bombing and the September 11th attacks. He currently lives in Potomac, MD with his wife and two children, Lauren(12) and Darren(14). Leon Harris also has a fan club consisting of many members. Harris also likes to engage in basketball pick-up games with his son. Harris originally played football in college until an injury turned him to his future and present career. Harris is also known for his continuing skepticity toward's his son's amount of shoes. Harris's son enjoys basketball while his daughter enjoys High School Musical.
