Hello, I'm Yintan. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Repertoire of Plácido Domingo seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Yintan 22:30, 27 June 2013 (UTC)
- Please note: you now have two editors who have reverted your inclusion of an opinion for which you are unable to provide a reliable source, other than your own.
- Please read neutral point of view and do not change the article unless you can find substantiation. Under the three-revert rule of Wikipedia (see Wikipedia:Edit warring), any reverting by you may be considered grounds obtaining a block on your editing.
- You are advised to discuss this issue here or on the article's talk page before taking any further action. Please read the rules of Wikipedia. Viva-Verdi (talk) 22:46, 27 June 2013 (UTC)
- The original version (see 555158083) of the intro was: "Perhaps the most versatile of all living tenors," which was very neutral and no POV. The very fact of offering a list of 142 roles is by itself a reason to allow this intro, IMMO. The text says "perhaps", so it's still objective. Proposal: let's return to the original formulation which was there for a couple of years! 83.77.253.211 (talk) 09:55, 28 June 2013 (UTC)
NB: There are now three editors who have opposed your wording and have made reverts. I agree with the removal of the link to the Met by User talk:Michael Bednarek, which is simply a long list of singers and their performances and which in no way supports the POV statement (with its variations) that you have continued to make.
