Mikhail Borisovich Kogan Template:Lang-ru was born in Zhitomir, Ukraine in September 5th 1893 and died in Moscow, USSR in November 26 1951. Mikhail Kogan was a well-known doctor in the USSR. He was a head of the therapy department of 2nd Moscow Medical Institute. He treated well-known people, - Samuel Marshak, Martiros Saryan, Dmitri Shestokovitch, Moltov and others. He was one of the doctors named in the fabricated Joseph Stalin's Doctors' Plot in 1953. In spite of he had already died by the time when the first article about the plot was published "Pravda" newspaper 13th of January 1953. He was the brother of Boris Borisovich Kogan, (not Boris Kogan the chess player) who was also a doctor named in the Doctor's Plot and later arrested, and jailed.
