Template:Unreviewed Your Pie Your Pie is a fast casual pizza concept that was started in Athens, Georgia in 2008 and operates as a restaurant franchise with 18 locations across the Southeast.[1]

Your Pie is most widely known for its customizable 10 inch pizzas, but also offers build-your-own panini sandwiches and bread bowl salads. Your Pie uses brick ovens to cook pizzas at a high temperature for a short amount of time, ranging from 3-5 minutes depending on topping choices.[2] Gelato (Italian ice cream), craft beer and wine are also available at all locations. The interior décor differs from store to store, but all locations blend “old Italian” style with a modern, artistic approach. Restaurants embrace the uniqueness of their locale, featuring philanthropic percentage nights and community-driven events.

History

Founder Drew French had always shared a passion for the restaurant industry, having worked in the kitchens of many well-known franchise brands throughout his college career. In May of 2006, French vacationed with his wife to the island of Ischia for their honeymoon, an Italian island off the coast of Naples, where his wife's family is from. It was here, on his honeymoon, where the concept for Your Pie began.[3] Brick oven pizza was everywhere in Ischia, and French noticed that by using high temperatures in a brick oven, great quality pizza could be produced. Noticing how quickly custom, artisan pies could be made through using a brick oven, French's revolutionary idea for a build-it-yourself, quick-serve pizza place came to be.[4]

Since the first opening of Your Pie in Athens, Georgia, 18 Your Pie locations have been opened across the Southeast.

Focus on Customization

Your Pie encourages customers to “Express your inner pizza” through an interactive dining experience that allows for ultimate pizza creativity. Your Pie is a celebration of the individual and revolves heavily around the fact that you don’t need to compromise on anything—from dough choice, sauce selection, and toppings preferred, each Your Pie pizza is an individualized creation.[7]

Customers begin the Your Pie experience by selecting which hand-tossed dough will act as a canvas for creating a customized pizza. Following the down-the-line concept, customers then select which homemade sauce to put on the dough, and then choose which all-natural cheese will go on the pizza.[8] Your Pie offers 35 fresh and premium ingredients to top pizzas with before the creation is popped in the oven to be cooked.[9]
