Controversy

During the 2013 Draft, number two draft pick Victor Oladipo wore Google Glass to record his day. On his way to the draft the NBA tweeted a picture of Victor wearing glass.[1] After walking around in the green room saying hello to other players, Victor was asked by NBA officials to remove the Glasses.[2] After the draft Victor stated that this is "A once-in-a-lifetime experience. I’m glad you guys get to see it from my perspective."[2] Google denied any involvement with the planning and execution of Victor wearing Google Glass. Rather a social media marketing agency Carrot Creative was responsible for connecting with Victor and giving him access to Google Glass.
