Food is said to be hot if it is particularly spicy.

In slang usage the term "hot" can refer to the attractiveness of a person. A person who is consideredly extremely attractive is said to be "hot". I.E. "That Mar sure is hot"

"Hot" is also used as jargon to describe radioactivity. "Be careful, the room is hot".

Hot is also the name of a 1970s pop music group whose best-known song is "Angel In Your Arms".
