Thanks very much, Raichu!
Hi,
I was pleased and surprised to find an extra nominator on my successful RfA! :) Thanks for that... I really appreciate it. Support from younger editors helps me feel a little less old and stodgy. ;) You have a friend among the administrators now, Raichu, so if you ever need help with anything on the wiki, don't be afraid to ask. My talk page is always open, and I'd love to hear from you. Keep up the good work, and you'll administrator too before too long! Best wishes, Xoloz 02:59, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
Four square
Please do not make cut-and-paste moves. They do not preserve the editing history of pages. If you would like to rename Four square, you need to visit Wikipedia:Requested moves. However, generic names such as "four square" are correctly capitalized. The word "square" should not be capitalized. Rhobite 23:47, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
My RFA
Thank you, Raichu, for voting in my RFA. It closed with a final result of 75/1/0. Now that I am an administrator here, I will continue to improve this encyclopedia, using my new tools to revert vandalism, block persistent vandals, protect pages that have been vandalized intensively, and close AFD discussions. Any questions? Please contact me by adding a new section on my talk page. Again, thanks to all of you who participated!!! -- King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 23:15, 20 May 2006 (UTC) |

Additional Questions
I added some additional questions to your RfA. They are, of course, optional. Raichu 21:58, 22 May 2006 (UTC)
- I have responded to your questions. joturner 23:39, 22 May 2006 (UTC)
Joturner's 2nd RfA
Hi Raichu, I was looking through Joturner's 2nd RfA and saw that you have two votes registered - one for (no. 102) and one against (no. 22). I wasn't sure which one you wanted so have left both intact - please remove one of them. Thanks, Tangotango 13:45, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
Practical Joke
Just thought I'd let you know I love the practical joke at the top of your user page! (and yes - I fell for it). Captainj 14:41, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
- from my page: Don't Worry, even I sometimes fall for it. Raichu 14:44, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
- That's twice in the last 5 minutes you made me LOL. Well done! Captainj 14:48, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
Articles you might like to edit, from SuggestBot
SuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.
P.S. You received these suggestions because your name was listed on the SuggestBot request page. If this was in error, sorry about the confusion. -- SuggestBot 04:02, 26 May 2006 (UTC)
Userboxes
Do you have a version of the deleted userboxes I could see. I am very conserned with the rampant deletion of userboxes that do not fall under T1. —David618 01:37, 27 May 2006 (UTC)
Sorry about the stress
I'm sorry everything seems to be going badly. Try to look on the bright side, and count all the good things that you have right now, things that other people don't. That's what I do. It may sound stupid, but it helps you appreciate life a lot more. I know what you mean about the userboxes, though. One of mine was speedy-deleted without anyone telling me.-- The ikiroid 16:43, 27 May 2006 (UTC)
- There's not much to say after those terribly inspiring words but to agree! Even if there are a bunch of bad things happening on Wikipedia, there's some reason you enjoy it, because you're here! I hope you decide to stay and keep contributing. -- Natalya 17:36, 27 May 2006 (UTC)
- Please stay, I know any type of edit war is tough, but things will be better in the long run. They're planning on making a new namespace for it, and no more will be deleted unless they're sectarian/racist etc. If you must leave it's your decision, but we wish you wouldn't. Regards, Highway Rainbow Sneakers 17:20, 27 May 2006 (UTC)
Okay, I've decided to stay. Raichu 20:32, 27 May 2006 (UTC)
Try not to let the userbox war slow you down. You are not the only who is upset at Cyde, I promise. --Pilot|guy 18:06, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
- He doesn't seem to be making many friends with the way he seems to be doing things (ie telling people what to do, not phrasing in the form of a request). He also comes across as very "I'm better than you". — Nathan (talk) 22:19, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
- Additionally, he just added himself to the Esperanza member list. I know it's not a nice thing to say, but I'll be accepting bets on how long it will take before he gets booted out. — Nathan (talk) 23:38, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
Friend
Thanks for being my friend! Like, how old are you? You play all those instruments, and you sing well, too! I sound like a strangled cat - no, worse when I sing! I'm really impressed! :) Sergeant Snopake 22:26, 27 May 2006 (UTC)
- I just realised! You were born on Pearl Harbor Day! You have the same birthday as one of my family's dogs! Sergeant Snopake 10:41, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
- Wow! You're a lot more intelligent than I was at ten! Don't get upset about Cyde - no one I know likes him, and he's my least favourite admin. If you really love your userboxes, you can go to JDoorjam and ask him to subst them for you. You get the whole code instead of the little one, and your userboxes aren't affected when templates go up for deletion (and are, subsequently deleted)! It solved all my problems. ;) Sergeant Snopake 08:51, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
Userbox note
I noticed your userpage has a few userboxes linked which appear to be deleted. You might want to check it out and either replace them or remove the broken links! :)
Take care! ~Kylu (u|t) 21:40, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
Substed your userboxes
Hey Raichu, I've substed your userboxes and put them on a sub-page to keep your main page clean. If you want to edit your userboxes, just go to User:Raichu/Userboxes, and edit that page. Let me know if you have any questions about that, or about anything else related to the Wiki. See you 'round the 'pedia, JDoorjam Talk 13:50, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
Sprotect
Lol - You don't quite seem to be angry at the vandal ;) (Hey, if its sprotected, nobody will vandalize it again!) Seriously though, generally user pages aren't sprotected unless they have been targeted for repeat persistent serious vandalism. Check out WP:USER#Use of page protection for user pages. Thanks, AndyZ t 22:51, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
9 month requirement
Raichu, I'm a little confused about your 9 month requirement. Kukini's racked up no opposition, but you voted neutral b/c he's only been here 6 months. But Siva has been here an identical amount of time, yet you granted "Strongest Possible Super Ultra Mega Support" and co-nominated to boot. Why? This seems contradictory. I don't ask in the spirit of confrontation; I'm just confused. --Kchase02 (T) 07:14, 3 June 2006 (UTC)
- OK. Thanks, Raichu. --Kchase02 (T) 18:09, 3 June 2006 (UTC)
My Thanks
I wanted to drop a brief note on your talk page (one admittedly not written to you only, but nevertheless truly meant) to thank you for your vote in my Request for Adminship, which concluded this evening. Even though it was unsuccessful, it did make clear to me some areas in which I can improve my contributions to Wikipedia, both in terms of the areas in which I can participate and the manner in which I can participate. I do plan on, at some point in the future (although, I think, not the near future), attempting the process again, and I hope you will consider participating in that voting process as well. If you wish in the future to offer any constructive criticism to me, or if I may assist you with anything, I hope you will not hesitate to contact me. Thanks again. — WCityMike (T | C) ⇓ plz reply HERE (why?) ⇓ 04:26, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
