Liverpool will enter the FA Cup at the Third Round stage as well as the other Premier League clubs and all the Championship clubs. The draw for the third round will take place in December 2013 with the ties to be played in January 2014.
Due to the fact that Liverpool did not qualify for European competition in the 2012–13 season , they will enter the League Cup at the second round stage.
