Duane Anthony Clemons[1] (born May 23, 1974 in Riverside, California[2]) is a former American Football defensive end who played in the National Football League between 1996 and 2005.[3] He was a first round selection in the 1996 NFL Draft out of the University of California by the Minnesota Vikings.[4]
On September 8, 2008, Clemons signed with the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League[5] and was assigned to their practice roster, but was released by the team on September 15, 2008.[6] He is currently the defensive line coach for the MidAmerica Nazarene University Pioneers. His son Butch Clemons is now following in his footsteps at Southwest High School in Kansas City.
