Source

This information was compiled from the U.S. Order of Battle, other wikipedia pages, and the given websites. further explantions of amphibious warfare can be found on other pages but this term is a quickly measurable/comparable factor of power projection. i have some info on china available on request but of less accuracy. i'm working on a history of over-the-beach capability: Athenians in Sicily, viking and pirate operations. also up for consideration is a logistics page. Neologism

i guess this does qualify as a neologism for amphibious capability but i maintain the data is accurate and worthwile. i guess i'll just host it on my personal website. (Jschager 10:15, 8 February 2007 (UTC))[reply]
