Awaz TV is a Sindhi language television channel with headquarters based in Karachi, Pakistan. It was launched in 2009 and broadcasts entertainment and infotainment programs in Sindhi.[1]

Awaz TV is available via satellite on AsiaSat 3S as well as on cable operators all around the country.[2]

Awaz TV hosts many drama, talk shows, morning shows, comedy shows and entertainment shows. The most popular shows are Soomar Sureloo, Hard Line With Shoukat Zardari, Death Line, Subh Jo Awaz, Lok Geet aen Lada, Sonan Khushboo aen Rabeel, and Awaz Night With Yasir Shoroo.

Goal and visions

Awaz's primary goal is to create greater value for our viewers, employees and society. They seek to be a driving force in creating different source of media entertainment and simplifying information. Awaz explores how media benefits people's lives everyday, and realizes the important role of media industry in socio economic development.

Awaz will allow people to stay in touch with day to day regional, national and international affairs along with family entertainment. They educate related societies in the fields of technical education, law, social responsibilities, and basic health.

They will be presenting the true culture of Sindh around the globe and Awaz will be the real face of a common Sindhi man. The mix of their programs (information 60% and entertainment 40%) will allow them to play a role in the development of related communities. They are committed to providing high quality information and entertainment programs, having regard to regional culture and norms. Therefore, they have designed their programs both demographically and geographically to make it as easy to understand as possible.

Awaz will be a source of employment directly to more than 200 people, and indirectly to around 500 people. Awaz will play a role in informing and educating the common man through various means, which ultimately will result in positive effects of socio-economic developments.
