Content forking

Regarding your edit to Ashford, Middlesex, please note that content forking is not permitted on Wikipedia. Each entry is a single article. You can find out more about content forking by following this link: Wikipedia:Content forking. MRSC (talk) 14:48, 17 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Middlesex

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.

Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Thank you. MRSC (talk) 16:32, 17 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

February 2013

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 day for edit-warring, and then placing a personal attack on a user's page who was warning you, as you did at User:MRSC. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.   DDStretch  (talk) 21:22, 17 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Rescorla

While I agree with your removal of this sentence [1] as irrelevant (not to mention unsourced), describing it as "racist" is neither accurate nor helpful. If you could leave that kind of thing out of your edit summaries, we'll all be better off. Cheers, Bretonbanquet (talk) 23:04, 7 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
