The Thrill of It All, a 1963 movie comedy, features Doris Day as a housewife who accidentally winds up a popular TV commercial personality, much to the irritation of her husband (James Garner), who couldn't bear the thought of his wife working (this was 1963). Written by Larry Gelbart and Carl Reiner, and directed by Norman Jewison.
