Herzogenaurach is a town in Bavaria, Germany. It is located in the district of Erlangen-Höchstadt in Middle Franconia and is the birthplace of sporting goods giants Adidas and Puma and still the city of their headquarters.

This city (of approximately 24,000 inhabitants) is over 1000 years old and is located about a 30-minute drive from Nüremberg. It was first mentioned in a document in the year 1002 under the name of Uraha.
