Traditional Korean musical instruments comprise a wide range of string instruments (both bowed and plucked), wind instruments, and percussion instruments.

Strings

Silk instruments are mostly string instruments (including plucked, bowed, and struck). Most Korean string instruments (except the yanggeum) use silk for strings.
