Fedora Commons Removal Fedora Commons should be removed from this list. It is not a CMS. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.162.142.184 (talk) 21:38, 24 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please add Contentverse to both SaaS and Proprietary sections. www.contentverse.com. For SaaS - Name - Contentverse Web - Licensed version available - Yes, last stable version 2013, Web Content Management - yes, Group Content Management - yes, Enterprise Content Management - Yes. For Proprietary section - Name - Contentverse, Platform - Java, Supported databases - Oracle and SQL Server, Latest stable release 8.0, Licenses - Proprietary software, Latest release date - 2013, Web Content Management - Yes, Group Web Content Management - Yes, Enterprise Content Management - Yes.

I notice that this particular list article specifically says that it's a list of "notable" content management systems, but the Computhink Wikipedia article (the developers of ContentVerse) says they have less than 100 employees. When I do a quick Google search for lists of content management systems[1][2] ContentVerse doesn't seem to come up in other lists of CMS systems. I believe when/if the company grows it may become large enough for inclusion, but at the moment, the list doesn't appear to be intended to be comprehensive and the company doesn't appear to be notable. Not done for now: Are you asking for an update to the "IBM Enterprise Content Management" line in the Proprietary software section (which links to this article), or for a new entry? If the former, we can proceed, but keeping the same name as now. If the latter, please note that there is an HTML comment in the article saying:

This is a list of NOTABLE CMSs, as judged by the existence of articles on Wikipedia. Please don’t add external links or wikilinks to nonexistent articles – instead, write an article to demonstrate notability. CMS without articles, redlinks, external links, and links to articles that aren’t about the CMS in question will be pruned periodically. Fill in the background info too, please, to make this article useful. Thanks.

so the right thing to do would first be to create such an article, then add the table entry. If you'd like to reply here, don't forget to change "answered=yes" to "answered=no" in the edit request to flag it for further attention. --Stfg (talk) 11:48, 5 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
