Regarding Xiphophorus kosszanderi and Xiphophorus roseni

     These two species were later found to be natural hybrids by the original authors (See Herbert Axelrod & Lothar Wischnath 1991. Swordtails and Platies.) Recent publications (see e.g. Kallman 2006, Cui et al., 2013) on the genus do not treat these two species as valid.
